Book Review 4

I read a book. The name is ‘Making a Cake.’ The book asked us, ‘Is making a cake like making a work of art? Or is making a cake science?’ I thought making a cake is like making a work of art. But the book says next things. Some people think making a cake is art because it is all how good the cake looks and taste. But some people think that making a cake is science because it is all the changes that happen when many ingredients are mixed together to make something new. To conclude, the best cakes are part science and part art. I agree this. I often eat a cake. I think cake is deep sweet. The book has a lot of cakes pictures. Cakes make me happy. But I can’t make cake. So I want to try making cake. (144words)

Snow! Snow! Snow!

Good morning! It is snow today. Kumamoto hasn’t snow so much. When I was high school student, I went to Shiga as school trip. We tried skiing. And I saw much snow. In Kumamoto, I couldn’t see snow. So I was excited! And I slipped. And I was late for first period class. I like winter. But road is very slippery. Be careful accident.(64words)

Ltalian climate

Italy has a genial climate and the four seasons. But there are differences between each area. For example, North Italy has continental climate, which has big difference of temperature between day and night, between summer and winter. South Italy has Mediterranean climate, which has mild climate through a year and it has little rain in summer and it has a lot of rain in winter. Rome’s temperature is similar to that of Tokyo. In spring, various flowers come out. In summer, it is light until about 8:00 PM because Italy is high latitudes. Italy doesn’t have the rainy season and has low humidity. In fall, there are various festivals for form products. In winter, it is hard cold and sunset is early. The area is 301,230 km2. Italy is smaller than that of Japan. Population is 58.9million. Rome’s area is 1,285.3 km2 and population is 2million. Rome is most big city in Italy. Milan is 181.8 km2 and population is 1.3 million. (162words)

Book Review 3

I read a book. The name is ‘The Water Cycle.’ Water moves from Earth to the sky and then back to Earth. The process is called the water cycle. Water change the form in water cycle; Liquid, gas and solid. The liquid form is rain, rivers, lakes and ocean. The gas form is vapor. The solid form is ice, snow and hail. And there are four stages in the water cycle: evaporation, condensation, precipitation and runoff. I thought the water cycle is very well. Water is very important resource. If water is nothing, we can’t live. The book shows me the water cycle by plain explanation. Nature is wonderful! (109words)

Italian Location

Located on the Italian Penisula, a long body of land that juts out from Southern Europe, Italy is famous for its shape, which is like a boot in which the toe points to the island of Sicily, located in the center of the Mediterraean Sea. Italy extends from the Alps mountain range in the north to the Meditteraean sea in the south and is 1,185 kilometers in length.
Italy is often divided into three major regions, North, Central and South. North Italy extends from the Alps in the north to Emilia-Romagna, which is state and includes modern cities such as Milano and Torino, and state capital is Bologna.
South Italy extends from Abruzzo, which is state and state capital is L'Aquila, to Calabria, which is state south of Napoli.
Central Italy is between north and south Italy, includes modern cities such as Rome and Florence. (145words)

Book Review 2

I read a book. The name is ‘World Heritage.’ The World Heritage List was set up in 1972 by UNESCO. The list was set up to save and care for special places around the world. There are three kinds of sites. Some places are natural sites, like Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Other places are cultural site, like Venice in Italy. Some places are natural and cultural site, like Kakadu National Park in Australia. But some places in danger because of global warming, pollution and war. We must protect the places. I decided recycling and saving. The book showed me many world heritage sites. The places are very wonderful. I want to visit the sites someday.(115words)

My three treasures

I have three treasures. One of my treasures is CD of “BUMP OF CHICKEN.” I like “BUMP OF CHICKEN.” They are band men. I like the vocal’s voice. When I am tired, I listen to his voice. His voice makes me relaxing. Their music make me exciting. Their music makes me vigorously So I always buy their CD when they release new CD. They almost don’t appear on TV. So I want to see them. And I want to see them. And I want to listen to naked voices and live performances. I have never go to their concert. Next month, there is their concert in Fukuoka. I cannot be going to go to it. I regret that I cannot be going to it. So I want to go to it sometime. One of my treasures is my dog. Her name is Kyarameru. She likes to eat foods. Especially she likes meats. So she is fat. She likes to go to walk. She is very friendly. I always go to bed with her. She has very big eyes. She is very cute. One of my treasures is my friends. I always talk to my worry. My friends always listen to my talk for real. My friends are very kind. I want to encourage my friends when they have any worries. I want to more enjoy many things with them. I want to make many memories with them. I owe what I am very happy to these my treasures.(248words)
